What a road!
Too many drinks the night before!
Mum got a migraine and a 8 hour car drive with 200 miles of solid road works

But anyway we got there in the end and then it was non stop.

Up at 4 am to get jeeps and into the jungle:

Then in the afternoon we went birdwatchimg at a lake:

Early morning start and its off to Udaipur by flight via Mumbai

We arrive in Udaipur.

A city in the Rajhastan desert set around 3 lakes.
What a beautiful city.

Here is the Lake Palace Hotel which we are going to stay at in 2 days:

Firstly though its off to the tailor to get Mum a Sari for dinner at the palace:

We had two lovely nights at the Amet Haveli hotel with a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake.

Then it was off to the palace, how exciting:
